Airport To Conduct Security Exercise

Savannah/Hilton Head International personnel will conduct a live security exercise Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The exercise will include inspections of vehicles approaching the Terminal, as well as other security related measures that may not be visible to the traveling public. During this time passengers should encounter minimal delays on Airport roadways. The exercise is part of the Airport’s ongoing security training program.

Passengers are reminded to arrive at the Airport 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. This is especially important for early morning flights, as extra time may be needed to park, check baggage and clear security.
