Completion of High School education or equivalent and minimum four (4) years experience operating farm, mowing and/or construction equipment is required. Knowledge of mowing equipment, construction equipment and farm equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to perform pesticide and fertilizer operations. Knowledge of plant, shrub, tree and grass care, ability to work safely with and around mechanical equipment and chemicals, ability to operate light and heavy, manual and mechanical equipment and tools. Ability to work for extended periods of time in all types of weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds.

The Savannah Airport Commission is accepting applications for one (1) Public Safety Officer position. GA POST Certified Law Enforcement Officer with public relations experience in law enforcement activities preferred. Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as required. Must be able to act without direct supervision and follow oral/written instructions. Valid GA drivers license required.

Responsible for the supervision of the Administrative Staff, Purchasing Department and Financial Analyst. The Director of Administration/Finance shall assist in the development of a personnel plan, in review and development of Administrative, Finance and Purchasing policies, and in the preparation of statistical data and related information to support lease negotiations, and in formulation of lease/contract documents. It shall be his/her responsibility to advise the Executive Director on making investment decisions concerning Savannah Airport Commission Funds. Conduct continuous reviews of all insurance policies and advise the Executive Director as to handling of insurance matters. Direct and supervise the review and development of internal controls, plan, review and formulate accounting instructions in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Monitor the financial position of the Savannah Airport Commission and prepare financial analysis as necessary to keep the Executive Director informed concerning this matter. Direct and supervise the preparation of contract documents, legal claims and notices, and administration of Ground Transportation activities. Assist all department heads in preparation of annual budgets, cash flow analysis, cost/benefit analysis, lease/purchase decisions, operational cost analysis and other financial analysis. Plan, organize, and control all computer related functions; including review and development of new computer software and hardware.

Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting, including course work in business management and five years increasingly responsible experience in business and financial management required. CPA or MBA preferred.
