Certified Public Safety Officer

The Savannah Airport Commission is accepting applications one (1) full time position for a GA POST Certified Law Enforcement Officer with public relations experience in law enforcement activities. Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as required. Must be able to act without direct supervision and follow oral/written instructions. Ability to hear/respond to radio dispatchers; vision ability of 20/20 with corrected lens. Valid GA drivers license required.

Starting Salary $15.10 per hour.

Engineering Technician II

Applications are being accepted for one (1) Engineering Technician II. Knowledge, background and experience in civil construction management and inspection, oversees construction of capital improvements including but not limited to paving, drainage, water, sewer, buildings and other structures and facilities required. Administers construction contracts; interprets design specifications and criteria to contractors, performs engineer inspections for quality assurance while work is in progress; checks progress payments; monitors scheduled completion; assists in final acceptance inspection. Knowledge and experience in surveying, design, drafting, and estimating. Coordinates construction activities within the Airfield Operations Area. Applicants for all positions must have the ability to hear/respond to emergency broadcast communications and vision ability of 20/20 with corrected lens.

Starting Salary - $21.12 per hour
