Written questions, comments, compliments and concerns can be mailed to TSA at the address listed above. In place of, or in addition to writing, you can call the TSA hotline with complaints regarding security at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.

TSA Hotline

The hotline will be staffed from Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 PM EST and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. EST All operators are prepared to:

  • Respond to routine complaints or comments regarding screening and security processes, which includes but is not limited to inappropriate screening, lost, damaged and pilfered items.
  • Gather appropriate information or follow-up or investigation.
  • Refer callers to local authorities, where necessary.
  • Notify the appropriate Regional Operations Center in ongoing emergencies.

During non-staffed hours, the hotline will take recorded messages, which will be reviewed by the staff members at regular intervals.

For complaints regarding Airline Services, FIRST contact your carrier. Then, if you are not satisfied, please call the Department of Transportation Aviation Consumer Hotline, 1-202-366-2220. Please listen to the full recording and leave your name and number at the end and someone will return your call.

For concerns regarding safety i.e. repairs, concerns, broken equipment, please call the Federal Aviation Administration Safety Hotline at 1-800-255-1111.
